Type of Holiday & Why

• Cultural or sightseeing holiday in a city built on water
• Unique atmosphere with canals, bridges and historic architecture
• Main wish: to ride a gondola(and don't to cause an water accident)

Getting There & Local Transport

1. Fly to Venice Marco Polo Airport
2. Take a water taxi or vaporetto (water bus) to the city center
3. Move around by boat or on foot — no cars in the historic center

Main Attractions & Activities

Must-see places:

• St. Mark's Square & St. Mark's Basilica
• The Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge
• Doge's Palace and Murano (glass-making)

Activities I want to do:

• Try local pizza and pasta
• Photograph canals and small streets

Or for example I can go to Rome for tour

Practical Info & Advice

• Pack: comfortable shoes, camera, hat, sunglasses, light jacket
• Best time to visit: April-June or September-October
• Problems: flooding ("acqua alta"), high season, prices can be expensive

Conclusion: Venice is a unique mix of history, culture and water - it's very interesting.
